Lexmark designed the Optra E310 laser printer as an economical business-class laser printer for small workgroup or small office applications. The Optra E310 has an 8 ppm print engine that prints at 600 dpi interpolated resolution. It has 2MB memory standard, with one additional memory slot to expand up to 66MB. This sturdy printer is rated for up to 10,000 copies per month, with a 5,000-page yield toner cartridge for heavy use. Print on paper, labels, transparencies envelopes and card stock from as small as 3x5 inches up to legal size. The input paper feeder holds up to 150 sheets. This monochrome laser printer supports external print server options for Ethernet and Token Ring network printing with optional Marknet Pro external network adapters. MarkVision printer management software provides printer control across a broad range of environments With the virtual operator panel users receive real time alerts, error and status messages, while minimizing network traffic. Proactive warnings like low toner and paper low allow for timely supply replenishment. Resource Management lets you access fonts, demos and overlays to rearrange, copy, delete, or password protect them. The Optra E310 uses either a USB (Windows 98) or bi-directional parallel interface, with support for an optional external serial interface. It supports Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98, and Windows NT 4.0 operating systems.
